Here is the 5-day program

Day 1: Bangkok

All arrive Bangkok.

Depending on time of arrival of all guests, all make own way from airport to hotel.

• Directions will be provided. For the adventurous folks, we encourage use of Airport Rail Link (45 Baht) + BTS Sky Train (65 Baht) + a short distance by taxi (around 100 Baht) which is convenient and cheapest way to get to hotel.
• Airport taxis can be booked at airport counter. Price could range start from 600 – 1,500 Baht
• All check in to hotel (3-star). Hotel to be advised. Estimated cost 1,750 Baht per person (3,500 Baht for 1 twin room with breakfast). Hotel is chosen for proximity to Chao Phraya River for Dinner Cruise. Free time till dinner cruise
• Dinner Cruise All take short walk to pier to board cruise. Starts 19:30 – 21:30 hrs (2 hours). Cost Approx. 1,200 Baht per person. Buffet is served on board. Boat returns to pier and walk a short distance to hotel. (We have chosen this option to avoid hiring vans to contain cost).

Day 2: Hua Hin Town (Prachuab Khiri Khan Province)

Bangkok – Hua Hin Town (198.7 km, 3 hrs drive)

Breakfast at hotel and check-out.

• 09:30 Transport by van to Hua Hin. 6 persons + luggage max per van allowed. Cost per van = 3,500 Baht (or, 600 Baht per head).
• Stop for lunch along the way (800 Baht per head).
• Arrive Sailom Hotel, check-in. Rate for Twin Room with breakfast 1,890 Baht (or 945 Baht per person).
• Free time to enjoy beach, swim, go for walks or look for masseuse along beach.
• Evening, go into Hua Hin town for easy local dinner. (500 Baht per head)
• Flexible time to enjoy the walking street, local shops, etc.
• Stock up on booze, beers, snacks at convenience stores before heading back to hotel for night-long chats by the beach. Purchases of food stock, at own expense.
• Chit-chat by the beach or at lobby area, etc.
• Hit the sack and lights out.

Estimated cost Day 2 : 2,900 Baht per person

Day 3: Sea Cruise (Pranburi Town)

Early birds may enjoy walking on the beach to catch the sunrise.

• Early breakfast at hotel.
• 08:15 Proceed to Pranburi Town by drive (half-hour drive).
• 09:00 – 14:00 Board Sea-Cret Cruise for 6-hour boating to Lion Island, with lunch served on board. Enjoy the sea breeze, swim and head back to land (6-hours). Cost 1,800 Baht per head.
• 14:00 Transport back to Sailom Hotel in Hua Hin. (half-hour drive). Hotel @ 945 Baht each.
• Free time to enjoy relaxing by the hotel beach, pool or visit Hua Hin Town (extra cost may incur for transport, otherwise, may take local mini-bus which is economical).
• Dinner, planned at hotel, in private room or at open dining area next to beach. Cost 1,500 Baht per head.

Estimated cost for Day 3 : 4,300 Baht per person.

Day 4: Hua Hin - Bangkok

• Breakfast at hotel. Check-out time latest 12:00.
• 3-hours drive back to Bangkok. Van @ 600 Baht per person.
• 15:00 Arrive Bangkok and check in to 3-star hotel (to be advised). Hotel will be chosen for proximity to BTS Sky Train for easy access to shopping areas. Hotels will be more expensive here but we will try to find ones that are economical. Estimated cost per head 2,200 Baht (1 twin room with breakfast @ 4,400 Baht).
• Late lunch, open for option as group may want to walk around shopping centers, etc. Food court within shopping centers are recommended. Lunch will be at own cost today (unless Group wants otherwise).
• Dinner, venue to be determined, but we would like to keep it near hotel and within walking distance to avoid hiring vans. Estimated at 1,000 Baht per person.

Estimated cost for Day 4 : 3,800 Baht per person (with lunch at own expense).

Travel by BTS Skytrain: we recommend buying a Day-Use Ticket @ 150 Baht that can travel all day till midnight, rather than buying “per station” in case you wish to visit several shopping centers. Sky train ticket starts 15 Baht (1 station to 65 Baht, one way).

Day 5: Bangkok and Departure

• Breakfast at hotel. Check-out time latest 12:00.
• Lunch (open to option but may set aside 600 Baht each in case you want to try dim sum buffet) or Food Court, or an Indian meal.
• All those departing to airport may either take the BTS Skytrain + Airport Link (65 + 45 Baht) Or, if preferred, may call for Grab Taxi to airport (taxi from center of town should be around 350 – 400 Baht).

Note: Program is designed with cost concern, so very little use of hired vans which can be costly and will only be hired where necessary. Our advice is to TRAVEL LIGHT. There is no need for formal attire here, but men should include a pair of trousers for dinner cruise or for visiting some places in Bangkok. Hawaiian shirts, T-shirts, short-sleeves all acceptable. Self-service laundry is available almost every where and cheaper than hotel service. Wear-and-Wash as you go is most logical and convenient in our very tropical climate. Indian cottons is most appropriate but wrinkle-free clothing helps avoid ironing. Wrinkles look better on face, not clothing.

This program is designed for 30 persons (including the Thais). A higher number of participants will need travel agency, which means add up another 20 – 25%.
